DEFENCE CAREER GUIDANCE SESSION: 9 DECEMBER 2021 – NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC) IN COLLABORATION WITH BHARATH RAKSHA FOUNDATION

On 9th December 2021, under the guidance of our ANO Lt. Sampath Kumar R, the NCC Unit of SFS College in collaboration with Bharath Raksha Foundation, conducted a career guidance where in cadets, Ex-NCC Cadets, civil students took part actively. The chief speakers for the day were - Brigadier Ravi Muniswami who is the Secretary and correspondent of the foundation and Major Raghuram Reddy, President of the foundation.

They addressed the gathering by explaining different ways to join Indian defence. Their aim was to provide guidance and reach out the rural students who want to serve Motherland. A career in defence makes a person not only disciplined and strong but also opens up many other avenues for growth. Soldiers, with guns slung on their shoulders, smartly dressed in army uniforms, marching like machine men, heads held high and eyes blazing with unshakable confidence. This is what a career in defence usually surmises. A career in defence forces entails a huge number of opportunities for those who want to lead adventurous lives.

For those who have a strong sense of duty towards the nation, there can be no better option than joining the Indian Army as a career. This career guidance meet provided the cadets a motivational and an informative session which helped many cadets to choose their career path easily.
