Independence Day, Aug 15, 2020

The Independence Day of the Nation was celebrated with much fervour and feelings of patriotism on Aug 15, 2020 at 8 am.

The event started with the hoisting of the National Flag by Rev. Dr. Roy, the Principal of the College, in the presence of Fr Jijo Manjackal, the Vice Principal, Lt Sampath Kumar R, ANO and the NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers and KCD Wardens.

The Principal in his message exhorted the Desalites to always uphold the integrity of the nation by using freedom with responsibility. He invited the gathering to always remember the sacrifice of many people for the country’s freedom and to contribute positively and effectively to nation building.

The program was compered and organised by the NCC Cadets under the able leadership of Lt Sampath Kumar R.
