WEBINAR ON INVESTOR AWARENESS PROGRAM: 24 JULY 2021 – PLACEMENT CELL

On 24 th July 2021, Placement Cell of SFS College organised a webinar session on Investor Awareness Program, for the Final Year students of PG. The Placement Cell of St. Francis de Sales College aims at divulging quality placement opportunities for the students and alumni of the college. It acts as an interface between the students of the college and various companies that come for recruitment.

The webinar was engaged by Ms Rekha Ramanathan, a qualified and a competent professional with vast exposure of 19 years across various sectors that includes Banking, Insurance, Mutual Funds Training, Content Development, E Learning, Sales Recruitment, Marketing and Business Development, Customer Service and Customer Development.

Ms Rekha highlighted the important concepts and factors associated with investment as one should be aware of certain things while being an investor. How each investment tool varies in terms of degree of risk or benefits and investors chooses the one as per their suitability. Investment is any from plays an efficient role in the overall development of the economy through utilizing the savings of peoples for advancement and productive means. To conclude, the session though distinct in its approach had a common objective – to provide the student with the best of knowledge in that particular area.
