BLOOD DONATION CAMP: 9 NOVEMBER 2022 - ORGANISED BY ROTARACT CLUB OF ST FRANCIS DE SALES COLLEGE, NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA BLOOD CENTRE AND ROTARY HEALTH CITY, BANGALORE

Rotaract Club of SFS College in association with Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital and Rotary Bengaluru Health City organized a blood donation camp in the campus.  The team was led by Dr. Girish of Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital. Dr. Girish CJ, MD in Pathology and Blood Centre Officer at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Science, Bangalore having extensive experience in handling lab and blood bank, was the guest speaker of the day. He explained to us the importance of donating healthy blood to needy people and due to excessive loss of blood, a person may die, therefore blood donation is an act of saving lives.

Students were motivated and came forward to donate blood. The College had arranged the closed auditorium for the purpose. Students and faculties from all the departments were encouraged to be a donor, and give the gift of life to society. The blood donation camp was a successful one with around 200 blood donations, all with the support of the Management, Students and Rotaract club of St. Francis Degree College.
