BOOK REVIEW ACTIVITY ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY: 8 MARCH 2023 – LIBRARY COMMITTEE (THE KNOWLEDGE CENTRE OF SFS COLLEGE)

The Knowledge Centre of SFS College organized book review activity on occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th March 2023. The faculties and students of the college participated in this activity.

The ideas, beliefs, thoughts, struggles and lives of the women author in general, have shaped the contemporary world. New York Times book reviews overwhelmingly suggest that women tend to write about domestic issues and affairs of the heart. “By acquiring literacy, women become more economically self-reliant and more actively engaged in their country's social, political and cultural life.

By reviewing the books of these women authors, the participants got to know the struggles faced by them and how they overcome. This activity helped the students to develop the reading habits and to improve their writing skills.
