ALUMNI COLLABORATION ACTIVITY- CONNECTION WITH PRECAUTION: 12 DECEMBER 2022 – DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE

Career counselling is the process of understanding and assessing another individual’s concern, strengths, interests, and capabilities, in order to guide them towards the right career path. The process guides a candidate in understanding and pursuing the right career options as per their interests. All of us require career guidance at some point in our life. It helps us get insights about ourselves, our career and what we can do to improve it.

Career counselling session was organized on 12 th December2022 by the Department of Science as a collaboration activity with Alumni for B. Sc III sem students to make them aware about various opportunities and trends in the field of science after graduation. The Resource persons for the session was our Alumni Manigandan D.

He gave the talk in the topic connection with precaution. He explained about the hacking progress in programming. He suggested varied ways that how to opt the career in one’s life depending on the capabilities and potential. He talked about how to focus on the chosen career and what are the efforts to be put in to make that dream true. He motivated the students to be confident and communicative in life. Besides, hard work, time management and focus on the line opted are important aspects to be taken care of. The students cleared their doubts by asking various questions regarding the confusions,
they usually face while deciding their career. All the students were highly motivated and got to know about various opportunities after completing their graduation. It was a very informative day for the students.
