CAREER GUIDANCE ON BRIDGING GAP FROM CLASSROOM TO CORPORATE: 6 NOVEMBER 2021 - DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

As education systems are diversifying and expanding, the creation of new jobs and opportunities are changing the way individuals make their career choices. Career guidance is the process of helping individuals in making adequate educational and occupational choices and in taking career decisions based on the demand and requirements of the future work.

Ms. Jayashree Kar, Founder & Director of Digit age Technologies Visiting Professor at ISBR. She has headed various functions responsible for both top and bottom lines across multiple goes in India and Global IT majors e.g. Cap Gemini USA, TCS, MindTree and Wipro.She enlightened students about brief introduction of python and AI/ML, and explained about where AI/ML is being used and also about career opportunities. Also explained and guided about the project and gave some examples of codes used in image processing.
