Electronics:
Electronics is a branch of science developed in recent years and became popular due to the inventions and innovative developments that took place in the semiconductor field. Today the field of electronics involves design, development, production, research, and teaching. It deals with systems by which we can communicate with one another worldwide, by which vast quantities of data are manipulated, and by which highly complex manufacturing processes are automated and with the elements used to realize them. The types of jobs in this field are research and development, Field of Telecommunication, production and sales, technician, teaching, computer programmer, Medical departments, Power Electronics, Installation, maintenance and service of UPS, Inverters, Computers, computer networks and cell phones etc. Thus the job potential and self-employment opportunities are the great boons given by this fascinating field of Electronics. Because of these reasons it is relevant to study Electronics as an optional subject.

The curriculum is designed in such a way that in the first year students learn the basics of electronic components and their circuits and applications, in the second year digital electronics and software tools to design circuits and in the third year communication and the latest technology microcontrollers. Apart from syllabus, the department offers certificate courses in PCB designing, embedded system etc to enable student to innovate, design and develop various projects. The department also encourages students to organize and participate in national/ international seminars, workshops and technical fests to innovate, design and develop various projects.

It’s delightful to learn in this department. Learning in this department becomes interesting as well as fun loving. Come experience the joy of learning as future scientists.
