EXPERIMENTAL LEARNING ACTIVITY – PICTOGRAPHY: 12 NOVEMBER 2021 – DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS STUDIES

Class room activity on pictography was conducted for III semester BBA Aviation students by Prof. Geetha P S on 12 th November 2021. The main objective of this activity is to represent theme in the form of pictures or icons which makes the presentation more interesting and easier to understand. The brief explanation was given about the need and importance of this activity to the students. The activity has two rounds – picturization and dumbshow.

The students were made into 2 groups with each 5 members. Each group was given a theme and they were asked to draw a picture in a chart paper related to the theme. 15 minutes of time limit was given to complete this task. Then each group was given 5 minutes of time to do the dumbshow and the other group had to figure it out. Both groups showcased their creative skills and co-ordination to project their themes. Students were appreciated for their active participation and they expressed their interest to have more such task-oriented activities in the coming days.
