INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO THE VISVESVARAYA INDUSTRIAL & TECHNOLOGICAL MUSEUM 22 JULY 2022 - DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

The Department of Computer Applications of St Francis de Sales College, organised an industrial visit to the Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, Bengaluru on 22 July, 2022. (Friday) for II Sem and IV Sem BCA students. The main objective of this visit was to “Explore the Science Behind Technology”; The Science Behind Technology follows the intertwined histories of science, technology, and society, focusing mainly on the technology of communication. The visit elucidates how technological developments are inspired by scientific investigations and these investigations are inspired by inventive technology. Prof Lakshmi CB, Prof Saranya & Prof Gowthami accompanied students to the industrial visit. Students were taken to Cubbon Park where few team building activities were conducted and they participated enthusiastically.

The visit has promoted them to unknown worlds, spark their imagination and provide them with valuable learning experiences.
