ONLINE WORKSHOP ON PROTOTYPE /PROCESS DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT- PROTOTYPING:19 MAY 2022 - ASPIRE CELL IN COLLABORATION WITH DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION(BBA)

The Aspire Cell in Collaboration with Department of Business Administration conducted an online workshop on prototype /process design and development-prototyping on 19 th May 2022. The objective of the workshop was to inculcate the knowledge and give an insight to the students on the types and designs of Prototyping.

The speaker, Dr A Murugarajan Ph.D(IITM), Project & Head, Department of Robotics & Automation, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore spoke about the Importance of prototyping, its characteristics, its developments, prototype development process and types of Prototypes. The most important advantage of a prototype is that it simulates the real and future product Prototypes have 4 main qualities: representation, precision, interactivity and evolution. To conclude the work shop though distinct in its approach had a common objective – to help students understand their competencies which can then be mapped to jobs that are available in the market. The programme received extremely positive feedback and the College intends to provide such opportunities to students in the future as well.
