AN EXTENSION PROGRAMME - A VISIT TO MOULANA AZAD SCHOOL, ELECTRONIC CITY:12 JUNE 2023 – DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

As a part of the department activity an extension programme was conducted on 12th June 2023 at Moulana Azad School by the students of BBA department (II and IV semesters) on World Day against Child labour. A total of 21 students from the department took part in this outreach programme.

The session enabled students to get an exposure in meeting the with the students of the Government School and provide the knowledge about child labour. They prepared charts and illustrations depicting the need to stop child labour. The volunteers also prepared a small talk to help the students understand the need to stop child labour. Also entertainment programme such as dance, solo and group singing and games were organised. A total of around 8 students from this school attended the session and gained knowledge about child labour and understood what is child labour and their rights to avoid ad raise voice against child labour. The session was organised in the school premises and the volunteers along with one faculty took part in this initiative.

Students of the department gained an attitude of service towards society. They understood that they should be responsible social citizens and contribute to the welfare of the needy and underprivileged section of the community in which they are living. All the students actively participated and exhibited their service skills.
