DEPARTMENT OF HUMANITIES-HISTORY REPORT ON INFINITY 2021- ONLINE GUEST LECTURE SERIES FROM 11 JANUARY TO 13 JANUARY 2021

The Department of Humanities in collaboration with Research and IP Cell had organized ‘Infinity 2021- Guest Lecture Series’ from 11 January 2021 to 13 January 2021 for all the semesters of BA students. The Infinity guest lecture series focuses on nurturing the research culture among post graduate as well as under graduate students.

As part of guest lecture series, the Department of History invited Prof. Shilpa Mathew, Parazhi raja college, Wayanad to deliver the lecture on ‘Photography during world war 2’ through virtual mode using G-Meet platform. Prof. Shilpa Mathew is pursuing Ph.D. from Kuvempu University. She has published several national level research papers in various journals.

The program began at 11:00 AM with the welcome speech which was delivered by Adithi Sharma of I semester BA (HEP) and the speaker was introduced to the participants by Pooja HC of I semester BA (HEP). Then the session was handed over to the speaker. The session went on for one and half an hour enlightening the knowledge of students. At the end of the session students raised questions and all the doubts of the students were addressed effectively by the speaker. And the virtual session came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by Neha of I semester BA (HEP). And student’s opinion was collected through G-Form link.
