CONSTITUTION DAY: 27 NOVEMBER 2023 – NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC)

On 27 th November 2023, NCC cadets of SFS degree college belonging to 1/1 COY ARMY WING celebrated Constitution Day of India, also known as Samvidhan Divas. A total of 20 cadets took part in this activity. Cadets spread awareness about the Constitution Day which signifies the day Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from 26 th January 1950, besides highlighting and reaffirming the ideas and principles it upholds and honour the contribution of our Founding Fathers. A class-to-class awareness was given by cadets in the first part of the activity. The session conducted was informative to all students.

This session reminded students and cadets of their duty towards their nation, their fundamental rights and duties. Cadets learnt that Constitution Day reflects on the enduring principles that form the bedrock of our nation. The Constitution stands as a testament to our shared values, guaranteeing rights, liberties, and a framework for governance. Its principles, crafted with foresight, guide us through challenges, fostering a society built on justice, equality, and freedom.

We also held a quiz on the constitution and reading of the Preamble to the Constitution which is a reflection of the core constitutional values that embody the Constitution also we received E-certificate for the same. It declares India to be a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic committed to Justice, Equality and Liberty for the people. The day was spent in a fruitful manner. Cadets took part with great zeal of enthusiasm. br />
