NCC DAY: 27 NOVEMBER 2023 – NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC)

On 27 th November, 2023 NCC cadets of SFS degree college belonging to 1/1 COY ARMY WING celebrated the NCC day which is annually celebrated on fourth Sunday of November.

As we celebrate the historic milestone, the journey over decades reflects the unwavering dedication and commitment of cadets, officers and staff making this organisation one of the most uniformed and disciplined organisation. On this occasion cadets took initiative under the leadership of our ANO Capt. Sampath Kumar R and organised a visit to Government school on the occasion of 76th NCC raising day. A total of 9 cadets visited the Government school in Sampige Nagar and provided food to the students. A small introductory session was done where cadets interacted with students and students were made aware about the importance of NCC day. One among our cadets took initiative and taught basic self-defence techniques to students as self-defence not only helps us to protect ourselves but others too. Learning self-defence makes one physically and mentally strong. Later some fun activities were conducted to engage students. Next part of the activity included a visit to the orphanage. A total of 11 Cadets visited the orphanage. Tree plantation also conducted over there by planting slapping. Stationary items were also donated to orphanage children. The day was spent in a fruitful manner. Cadets took part with great zeal of enthusiasm.
