REPORT ON NATIONAL POLLUTION PREVENTION DAY
On 4th December, 2023 NCC cadets of SFS degree college
belonging to 1/1 COY ARMY WING of 1 KAR BN NCC
conducted a Rally for Pollution awareness and a poem writing
competition.
A total of 85 cadets and 10 Alumini took part in this activity which
was conducted to raise awareness about pollution and promote eco-
friendly transportation alternatives. The day started with a poem
writing competition where cadets wrote poem on the topic of
Pollution control. Poem was written in 3 different languages. Best 3
poems were awarded with medals. The event aimed to engage
cadets in a collective effort to combat environmental pollution. The
rally took place in Kammasandra and Hebbagodi Bus Stop. The
primary objective of the rally was to highlight the detrimental
effects of pollution on the environment and encourage the adoption
of sustainable practices. This initiative aimed to sustain the
momentum generated by the rally and promote long-term
environmental consciousness. The Rally organized successfully
raised awareness about pollution issues and garnered community
support for eco-friendly practices. Cadets demonstrated their
commitment to a cleaner, healthier future, inspiring positive change
within the community. Refreshments were provided.
We would like to thank our Principal Rev Fr Binu, Vice Principal
Rev Fr Jijo Jose and our ANO Capt. Sampath Kumar R for
providing us this opportunity to take part in such events.
