PRAVEGA 2023 – INTRA COLLEGIATE CULTURAL FIESTA: 7 SEP – 8 SEP, 2023 – ST. FRANCIS DE SALES COLLEGE (POSTGRADUATE CENTRE)

PRAVEGA, the Intra Collegiate Cultural fest of the ST. Francis De Sales College, Postgraduate centre is organized every year with an aim to provide a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas, talents. It is a fest in which various cultural competitions are organized for PG students. The cultural fest Pravega was conducted on 7 th and 8 th of September 2023 by the PG Cultural Committee for the PG students. A total of eight events were conducted and each event was assigned an in-charge for the smooth execution of the event.

The Chief Guest for the fest, Pravega was Ms. Anupama M A, who is a playback singer, lyricist, music director and an actor. By profession Ms. Anupama has been working as Asst. Professor at NMKRV and SSMRV Colleges, Bangalore. The inaugural function took place in the Closed Auditorium on Sep 8, 2023 and our Principal – Rev. Dr. Binu Edathumparambil, Vice Principal – Fr. Jijo and Administrator Fr. Robin graced the event. The cultural event was declared open by the Chief Guest – Ms. Anupama M A.

Over the course of 2 days all the eight events were conducted and the much-awaited Cultural championship and Individual championship was announced. Alwin Raj K from the house team Spartans was announced Individual Cultural Champion for the year 2023-24. Among the four houses of the postgraduate centre, the house team Spartans were declared as the Cultural champions for the year 2023-24. Both the Individual Cultural Champion and Cultural championship were bagged the house team Spartans. Students performed graciously and this was a platform which provided them an opportunity to discover their talents, potentials, and skills. The fest was fun filled, and source of joy and enjoyment to students along with giving a spirit of competition.
