REPORT ON SELF-DEFENCE
On 10th December 2023, NCC cadets of SFS degree college belonging to 1/1 COY ARMY WING of 1 KAR BN NCC, conducted PT Parade followed by Self-defence. The activity took place at SFS degree college
The Activity took place with a total of 80 cadets. The self-defence was carried out by one of our Cadet Rahuman S who has taken part in many Karate competitions namely Kosai Teki Championship, SSK Gaju Ryu and the Sai Cup,he bagged the first place in all these championships. The main purpose of this was to teach the cadets some of the self-defence techniques. It was very useful and helpful for the cadets and most important for SW's to protect themselves in dangerous situations. The cadets were even taught about what is self-defence and what does it mean and what are its uses. Along with the practical session the information given about Martial arts was also informative to the cadets. The objective given was "it's always good to be prepared and be confidential in your ability to stay safe and stay strong".
We would like to thank CO Col. M R Suresh, AO Lt. Col. Ravindra Singh, SM Vinay Thakur, Principal Rev Fr Binu, Vice Principal Rev Fr Jijo Jose, and our ANO Captain Sampath Kumar R for providing us the opportunity to take part in the session.
