The objective of the Program:
A social outreach activity was organised by School of Commerce. The students of final year BCOM E section undertook the initiative of visiting a Government School, Anekal taluk, Bengaluru with the following objectives
• To enable the Primary school students of a batch of 40 to 50 to gain knowledge on basic English Grammar, Vocabulary, comprehension skills, maths table tricks, moral values etc
• To help the students to acquire self confidence, courage and for overall personality growth and development.

This was a two day activity conducted on 23rdNovember 2023 and the session started at 12.30 pm on both the days. The following concepts were covered English Grammar, Vocabulary/ comprehension skills, Maths table tricks, Moral values and conducted drawing competition and musical chair for children.
A total of 13 students of final year BCOM E section formed a team and planned the schedule and the content to be delivered with the help and assistance of the Social outreach staff committee members of the department. Students had a good experience of interacting with the children of the Government school. They wholeheartedly engaged in imparting their knowledge and ideas and had a very positive attitude in trying to help the less fortunate kids to enhance and build their learning capabilities.
The session concluded at 3.00pm and overall it was a fruitful and an enriching activity and the students exhibited active involvement and participation in making the programme a success.

The outcome of the program are:
• Final year BCOM students have got the experience of teaching wholeheartedly to less fortunate kids to enhance and build their learning capabilities.
• The students of Nammura government senior primary school were empowered with these skill sets. The students shared their opinion to organise such programmes in future too and many were interested to be part of it in the upcoming days.
