SESSION ON CAREER ORIENTATION PROGRAMME: 25 April 2023 - DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The Department of Business Administration organised career orientation on 25 th April 2023 for the final year BBA students on the topic “Job after BBA” by Alumni Shravya V, HR Manager at Capitalelly, Bengaluru. Career decisions play a vital role in shaping the future growth and development of students. In today’s environment of multiple options, knowing about the available choices helps students in their decision-making process.

Alumni Shravya explained various job roles with respect to Human Resources, Marketing, Accounts, and Finance. She requested all the students to take two internships and a certificate courses in their area of interest. She also explained how quick, dynamic, and smart the students should be during placement opportunities. She motivated the students to harness their unleashed potential and grab every single opportunity right from the beginning to broaden their career prospects. She also shared her personal experiences with the students and how interesting and inspiring was her journey to the current position.

An insightful session on the career orientation process was held for the students. The session enabled them to clear doubts regarding career-oriented job opportunities. Students found this session as informative as well as interactive as it enabled them to know about various job roles for career growth and gained a wide range of knowledge on how to proceed with their future.
