EK BHARAT SHRESHTHA BHARAT CAMP: 28 SEPTEMBER 2023 TO 9 OCTOBER 2023 – NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC)

On 28th September 2023, EBSB camp was held at Rani Bagh, Haldwani, Uttarakhand. The camp was conducted from 28th September 2023 to 9th October 2023 by 79 UK BN. A total of 600 cadets took part in this camp out of which three cadets were from SFS degree college belonging to 1/1 COY ARMY WING of 1 KAR BN NCC.

The opening address was held on 28th September, 2023. The day started with a PT parade followed by EXPA classes on personality development where a lot of fun activities were conducted, this program helped cadets in understanding their strength and weakness. We also had lecturette on disaster management, health and hygiene. Barracks of this camp was well maintained. On 3rd of October 2023, we had a field trip to Raj Bhavan, Governor House, Nainital museum, Nainital zoo. On 4th of October 2023, we visited aviation as well as Aries organisation. We had drill as well as cultural competition like Solo song, solo dance, best out of waste, group dance, group song and NIAP. In cultural competitions we won the first place in group song, solo song, best out of waste, NIAP, solo dance and group dance followed by second place in the Drill Competition.

In this camp we had a cultural as well as cuisine exchange between Uttarakhand and other directorates where we showcased their culture and ate their traditional food and they showcased our culture and tradition. We are proud to say that Karnataka and Goa directorate ranked first in the overall championship. Closing ceremony for this camp was held on 8thof October2023 along with the prize distribution. We would like to congratulate and appreciate all the cadets who took part in this camp.
