WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY: 6 JUNE 2023 – NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC)

On 5th of June 2023, NCC cadets of SFS college celebrated World Environment Day and conducted many activities. On this occasion under the leadership of our ANO Captain Sampath Kumar R. The event took place with a total of 73 Cadets participating in it.

The main attraction of this event was the Street Play, which manifested the theme of the day. There were many events namely Tree Plantation, Awareness Rally, Drawing Competition, Street Play, Online Poster Making Competition conducted. They Stood nearby Bus stop and educated the Passengers and the general public. Winners of all these competitions were awarded with Prizes and Certificates.

World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5th of June, it encourages awareness and action for the protection of the Environment among people. Environment day is a global platform for inspiring positive thoughts. It is a reminder for people to be more considerate and aware of Earth’s existing condition. The cadets actively participated in this event with a great spirit of enthusiasm. This event turned out to be successful in creating awareness about our environment and the importance of a sustainable lifestyle.
