ONE DAY NATIONAL WEBINAR ON ACCELERATIONS AND INCUBATION OPPORTUNITIES: 26 APRIL 2022 – ASPIRE AND INCUBATION CELL

Aspire and Incubation Cell organized a One-Day National Webinar on Accelerations and Incubation opportunities on 26th April 2022 through Google Meet. 92 faculties participated in the webinar. Dr Nishad VM, Project Director, People Foundation, Calicut, Kerala was the resource person for this event.

Most start-ups dream of being accepted into a world-class mentorship program and the chance to pitch big-name investors, but don’t know the difference between two of the primary funding options that provide these opportunities: accelerators and incubators. He explained about the differences between incubators and accelerators. Start-up incubators help entrepreneurs refine business ideas and build their company from the ground up. Start-up accelerators provide early-stage companies that already have a minimum viable product (MVP).

The program had a common objective as to help the faculties understand their competencies which can then be mapped to their research programmes The programme received extremely positive feedback and the College intends to provide such opportunities to faculties in the future as well.
