REPORT ON ALL INDIA TREKKING CAMP (BELAGAVI)
On 15th of December 2023, National level trekking camp for boys was held
at Belagavi.
The camp was conducted from 15th of December 2023 to 22nd December
,2023 by 26th BN Belagavi NCC unit. One cadet from SFS degree college
belonging to 1/1 COY ARMY WING of 1 KAR BN NCC was a part of this
camp. The opening address was held on 15th December, 2023. On 16th
December,2023 cadets went trekking Vaijanath temple to mahipalgarh in
Maharashtra. The next day we went trekking Belagundi to Navage forest
and hill area. Day 3 cadets were given an opportunity to visit the Maratha
Light Infantry Regimental Centre, Belagavi (MLIRC). We also got a chance
to visit the Commando training center located in Belagavi. We also visited
the Belagavi fort, Rajhansgad fort, Basadi, Ramakrishna mission and other
places of historical importance. This camp included a lot of trekking
activity testing cadets of their physical and mental wellness. Refreshments
were provided in a timely manner. Closing ceremony for this camp was
held on 22nd of December,2023. We would also like to congratulate and
appreciate all the cadets who took part in this camp. Cadets took part with
great zeal of enthusiasm.
We would like to thank our CO Col. M R Suresh, AO Lt. Col. Ravindra
Singh, SM Vinay Thakur, Principal Rev Fr Binu, Vice Principal Rev Fr Jijo
Jose and our ANO Capt. Sampath Kumar R for providing us the
opportunity to take part in this camp
