ORIENTATION PROGRAM ON STRENGTHENING LIBRARY:3 MAY 2023 TO 5 MAY 2023 – LIBRARY COMMITTEE

The library committee organized orientation program on strengthening library from 3 rd May 2023 to 5 th May 2023. Knowing your Library & Effective use of E-Resources was conducted for First Year BBA Students and newly Joined Faculties. Around 95 students and 10 faculties participated in the programme.

The library offers the users to learn more about library and its resources. User education instruction took place in the library. The students & faculties can experience hands on training with the library’s resources and numerous collections. Librarian Mrs. S.Dheenadhayalini, explained about the library resources and highlighted the importance of e-resources for academic purpose, library’s role in supporting teaching, learning activities and emergence of new technology in libraries. The training program created awareness about the e-resources available under Delnet and Inflibnet n-list e- resources. The orientation programme inspired and motivated the participants to upgrade their skills in using e-resources. The overall program was very informative and appreciated by participants.
