Professional Enrichment Program introduced by the Department of Commerce from the academic year 2021 envisages to find the treasure of knowledge in one another and to enrich one another by sharing. The prime objective of this initiative is to help one another in the journey of research and publications. In the research articles of the thesis one of the things that occupies a prime place is the hypothesis as it predicts the probable outcomes of the research work. When a prediction or a hypothesized relationship is to be tested by scientific method, it is termed as research hypothesis. It is a predictive statement that relates an independent variable to a dependent variable. A research hypothesis must contain at least, one independent and one dependent variable.

She has an M.Phil from the Central University of Kuppam, Andra Pradesh and is currently pursuing her Phd in Dayananda Sagar University. She started her sessions asking certain basic questions as to what is hypothesis, what is the need of hypothesis in the research work, how can one form a hypothesis and so on. She explained the concepts and taught everyone how hypothesis can be formed using both the independent and dependent variable and showed everyone the examples for forming the hypothesis scientifically which can be tested using the statistical tools like chi square test, ANOVA, F test and so on that will make the research work more authentic. The participant felt confident to form the hypothesis scientifically and continue with their research journey more fruitfully.
