ONLINE QUIZ & BOOK DISPLAY ON NATIONAL YOUTH DAY: 12 JANUARY 2023 – LIBRARY COMMITTEE

The Library Committee organized an online quiz and in-house book display on Swami Vivekananda’s life and teachings was organized on the occasion of ‘National Youth Day’ on 12 th January 2023. Swami Vivekananda was one of the best known young generation monks in the world. He envisioned a holistic development of the mind, body and soul as the ultimate aim of education. Online quiz and book display on the Life of Swami Vivekananda was designed with the purpose of ensuring that the students learn valuable lessons by exploring his life and teachings.

The quiz was conducted online through Google Forms and 293 students from both UG and PG actively participated in this. The pattern of the quiz was MCQs (multiple choice questions) and 20 questions based on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda were input through the Google Forms. Apart from the quiz, the library had displayed books related to Swami Vivekananda. For the display, both the faculties as well as students visited the library in their free time and educated themselves on the topic.
