INAUGURATION OF MBA ASSOCIATION – “SYNERGY 2023”: 31 MARCH 2023 – DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT (MBA)

Synergy is the Association of the department of MBA which encapsulates different activities and programmes focused on developing the skills and abilities of management students. Synergy association enriches the experience of students, creates a diverse community, encourages involvement, and provides opportunities for students to build valuable skills. This helps students to build formal and informal networks while exploring career opportunities.

The theme of Synergy for the year 2022-2023: Resilience and Reinvention. We had a Prof. Jerome Nirmal Raj, an educationist whose contributions to the field of education have inspired countless student and educators around the world. Sir has been recognized both nationally and internationally for his contributions to society and education with his leadership and vision inspiring them to think critically, to innovate, and to push the boundaries of what is impossible. He was Head and Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, St. Joseph’s College Autonomous, Bengaluru, Dean of the Humanities St. Joseph’s College Autonomous, Bengaluru.  He Superannuated in March 2017 and was invited to join the newly established St Joseph’s College of Law as founding faculty and Dean.

Objectives of the Association:
• To generate opportunities of learning by doing for society
• To develop leadership skill among the student
• To promote the intercultural relations and welfare of students
• To serve the society in its possible need and perform the responsibilities to the society
• To organize different co-activities for and on behalf of the students
• To facilitate a conducive academic environment in the campus
• To involve students with extracurricular activities ahead of the academic part
