WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY ACTIVITY: 6 JUNE 2023 - THE NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC)

NCC cadets of SFS college celebrated World Environment Day on 5 th June 2023 and conducted many activities on this occasion under the leadership of ANO Captain Sampath Kumar R. The event took place with a total of 73 Cadets and they participated in this event with a great spirit of enthusiasm.

Environment day is a global platform for inspiring positive thoughts. The main motto of World Environment Day was to create awareness about environment, in hopes of creating better future.

The main attraction of this event was the Street Play, which manifested the theme of the day. There were many events and competition namely tree plantation, awareness rally, drawing competition, street play, online poster making and winners of all these competitions were awarded with prizes and certificates. They stood nearby bus stop and educated the passengers and the general public about our environment and the importance of a sustainable lifestyle. This activity was witnessed by media personnel and was posted by “Suryodaya24 TV”.
