REPORT OF PULSE POLIO VACCINATION
On 5th March 2024,11 cadets from SFS degree college belonging to 1/1 COY ARMY WING of 1 KAR BN NCC conducted activity on Pulse Polio
A total number of 11 cadets took part in this activity From March 3rd to March 6th, a dedicated team of NCC cadets, in collaboration with Asha Karyakartas, embarked on a monumental Door-to-Door Campaign aimed at Administering the life-saving Pulse Polio Vaccine to children under the age of five. With a daily target of reaching more than 300 Children, the cadets and Karyakartas meticulously planned and executed their strategy, ensuring that no child was left unvaccinated. Despite facing logistical challenges and navigating diverse communities, the teams exhibited unwavering dedication and resilience, working tirelessly to achieve their goal. In addition to administering the vaccine, the cadets and Karyakartas also engaged with families, educating them about the importance of vaccination in eradicating polio and promoting overall community health. Their efforts were met with resounding success, as they not only met but exceeded their daily targets, reaching out to a significant number of children and families. The impact of their work extended beyond the administration of the vaccine, as they helped foster a culture of health and well-being within the communities they served. Their commitment to this noble cause is a testament to the spirit of service and dedication that defines the NCC and Asha Karyakartas, inspiring others to join in the fight against preventable diseases and work towards a healthier, more resilient future for all.
