INDUSTRIAL VISIT - UN RAO SATELLITE CENTRE
On April 25, 2024, the 1 ST Year BBA A Section students embarked on an educational
excursion to the UN Rao Satellite Centre. This visit aimed to provide students with
practical insights into the functioning and operations of a satellite center and its role in
space technology and research.
The visit commenced with a welcoming session where the students were
briefed about the history, mission, and objectives of the UN Rao Satellite Centre.
They were introduced to the various departments and divisions within the center.
The students actively participated in interactive sessions led by experts
from the satellite center. These sessions covered topics such as satellite
communication, remote sensing, satellite launch procedures, and the applications of
satellite technology in various fields.
The students were taken on a guided tour of the facilities at the satellite
center. They visited the laboratories, control rooms, and testing facilities, where they
witnessed firsthand the processes involved in satellite development, testing, and
operations.
The industrial visit to the UN Rao Satellite Centre proved to be an
enriching and educational experience for the 1 ST YEAR BBA A Section students. It
provided them with valuable insights into the world of satellite technology and its
myriad applications. The interactive sessions, facility tour, and Q&A session enabled
students to deepen their understanding of the subject and sparked their curiosity about
the advancements in space science and technology.
