STUDENT NATIONAL SEMINAR ON CHANGING WORLD OF MANAGING BUSINESS AND PEOPLE WITH NEW TRENDS IN TECHNOLOGY: 23 JUNE 2023 - DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The Student National Seminar (SNS), titled “Changing World of Managing Business and People with New Trends in Technology” was a prestigious event held on 23 rd June 2023 at St. Francis de Sales College. The seminar aimed to provide a platform for students from various educational institutions across the nation to come together and exchange ideas, knowledge, and experiences on topics related to Managing Business and its significance with new Trends in Technology.

Around 200 students participated in the event which served as a valuable opportunity for them to showcase their research, engage in meaningful discussions, and foster collaboration for changing world of managing business. It served as a catalyst for young minds to actively contribute to the evolving business world and pave the way towards a prosperous future.

Key Highlights and Activities:

Keynote Addresses: Eminent expert Dr.Benjamin Jones Abraham, MBA, MPhil, Ph.D Assistant Professor, School of Business and Management, Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studied, delivered keynote addresses and shared about the field of business and new trends in Technology, shedding light on the current challenges and the role of youth in business and technology. He provided insights into innovative solutions and encouraged students to think critically about the issues at hand

Student Presentations: The core of the seminar consisted of student presentations, where participants showcased their research papers, projects, and initiatives related to business. The presentations covered a wide range of topics, including Human Resources, Finance, Marketing and General Management.

Networking Opportunities: The seminar provided ample networking opportunities for students to connect with like-minded individuals, form collaborations, and establish long-lasting professional relationships. These interactions aimed to foster a sense of community and encourage future collaboration among participants.

The grand finale of the 7 th National Student Seminar organized by the Department of Business Administration concluded with the announcement of the Best Presenter. Mr. Sumin Pillai from Alliance University and Mr. Sumit Pillai from St. Paul's College as the recipients of this esteemed honour. In recognition of their exceptional hard work and dedication, they were presented with certificates and a cash award of INR 2000, acknowledging their outstanding contributions to the seminar. The best paper was declared by the review committee on 30th June and a cash award was given to Desalite Pradeep Kumar D & Vinutha from St. Francis de Sales College. The Student National Seminar on "Changing World of Managing Business and People with New Trends in Technology" proved to be a successful and enriching event.
