ORIENTATION SESSION ON “USE OF IBM SKILL BUILD PLATFORM”: 23 OCTOBER 2021 – PLACEMENT CELL

Everyone should have the chance to succeed. IBM Skills helps students, professionals, job seekers and small businesses build critical skills through free online courses, programs, and badge credentials created in partnership with governments, NGOs and schools from all over the world. The Placement Cell of St. Francis De Sales organized an orientation session on the “Use of IBM Skill Build Platform” for the UG and PG faculties on 23 rd October 2021.

Skills Build is a free access digital learning platform that focuses on industry-relevant skill development in students and jobseekers above the age of 18 years. On successful completion of learning activities, the students can earn IBM certified badges and certificates that can be uploaded directly on LinkedIn or stated on the CV.

The session was conducted by Mr Manoviraj Singh - Manager CSR and Social Impact of IBM CSR Box. The session was conducted for all teaching faculties of both PG and UG. The platform consists of 7500+ learning activities which focuses on making students industry ready and helps in improving their professional skills, soft skills and personal skills.

Mr Manoviraj addressed all the queries that were asked by faculty members. The objective to learn more about the features of IBM Skills Build, all the courses available on the platform, and the latest updates was conveyed through this session.
