Infinity Guest Lecture Series- Research in Sports Psychology- Department of Psychology, Post graduate Centre- January 9, 2021.

PsyLight Club, Dept. of Psychology, Post graduate Centre, in association with Research & IP Cell organized guest lecture on “Research in Sports Psychology” on 9 th January 2021. Dr. Anaurene Roy, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Psychology, Krupanidhi Group of Institutions was the resource person for the event. Keeping the pandemic in mind, the session was conducted online, through Google Meet and over 60 students participated in the lecture. The speaker highlighted the importance of Sports psychology. She highlighted how a sports psychologist functions, job opportunities available in the field and current researches happening in the field of Sports Psychology.

The session was of great relevance and importance to students and it helped them gain knowledge about Sports psychology as a subject of study, research and work. Effective techniques and importance of research in improving health conditions and the status of sports psychology in India was reflected upon in the session.
