AMIZADE-ALUMNI INTERACTION PROGRAM: 19 & 28 MARCH 2022 – DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE

Amizade is an Alumni interaction programme was conducted on 19 th March 2022, by department of commerce. Alumni meet is very common in college where ex-students meet with each other to share and relive the memories. Prof. Chitra N K (Coordinator) of the department and Prof. Johnson (Alumni Coordinator) had organized this program. Prof. Jeseentha Mathew (HOD) addressed to the gathering who has given inspiring motivational speech to the old students. She interacted with the students asking their present status and future ambitions. Alumni meet aspires to acknowledge the contributions made by ex-students. Alumni interaction with Mr Ranjith (batch 2007-2010) founder of Srevents Academy and TV Anchor was organized on 28 th January 2022 by department of commerce for all the first year students of B.com through Google Meet. The Resources person Mr Ranjith started his speech by a brief introduction about how St. Francis De Sales college changed his life and helped him to build his communication skills and confidence.

Another session of Alumni interaction was held on 28 th January 2022 and the speaker for the day was Mr Ranjith (batch 2007-2010) founder of Srevents Academy and TV anchor. On both the days it was an online interaction through Google Meet Around 110 students took an active part in the program and gained motivation from a real successful story of an alumni. The students received lot of inputs and ideas about how they can pursue higher studies and the various demanded job opportunities in the future. Aluminous are recognized and appreciated for the effort to build society.
