CHILD RIGHTS & YOU (CRY) PROJECT –28 NOVEMBER 2022: DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS

Started in 1979, CRY – Child Rights and You is a top NGO in India working for underprivileged
children. It has been working towards creating happier and healthier childhoods for more than
four decades. Being the best child rights NGO in India, it is committed to doing everything it can
to ensure the rights of India’s children – right to education, safety & protection, health &
nutrition and participation.
Through its 102 projects spread across 19 states in India, CRY works on the issues of: child
education, health & nutrition, child labor and child marriage. CRY NGO addresses the critical
needs of children by working with parents, teachers, Anganwadi workers, communities, district
and state-level governments as well as the children themselves to create a sustainable change.
Mr. Kumara Swamy N, Assistant Professor of MBA Department was in touch with CRY India,
and with the help of Ms. Monisha, Head of Projects for CRY India, conducted in our first project
that is Sticker Campaign. Initially as our first step, sticker campaign was given to department of
business studies (BBA) and 37 Students of BBA participated in that. Students were first briefed
about the project in our SFS business lab and then through the online session information on how
to do the project was explained.
The campaign was all about spreading awareness about periods and to help them deal with it.
The students distributed the stickers in 10 outlets and certificates were distributed to all the
participants.
