FINANCIAL EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS: 21 DECEMBER  2022 - DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The Department of Business Administration organized a Financial Education for Students for the Final-year students on 21st December 2022. The objective of this session is to obtain a better financial understanding and set reasonable financial goals. Doing so will also help the students to make wise decisions when it comes to financial matters. Financial planning is basically a financial budget plan, which helps the students to set goals that are supposed to be followed by them to save and spend money accordingly. 

  The session focused on the following topics:
•  Financial Goal setting
•  Benefits of financial planning 
•  Financial planning for life goals
•  Managing income better
•  To create a successful financial plan

Mr. Niranjan, a Regional Manager at Saksham Home credit explained the above concepts and contents with many real-time examples and illustrations. He states that if one fails to plan, then planning will become a failure. Everyone may have several different financial goals they wish to achieve but to reach them at the right point in life; need to have a financial plan in place at a very young age. The final year BBA students (87 students) benefited from this informative session.
