SESSION ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: 26 MAY 2022 – ASPIRE ASSOCIATION IN COLLABORATION WITH INCUBATION CELL

A session on Intellectual Property Rights was organised by Aspire and incubation cell. The resource person was Ms. Latika Khanduja - Founder of IPLOEA. It was conducted on 26 th May 2022 in the closed auditorium where nearly 90 students took part in that. The objective of the session is to give an awareness to students on Intellectual property rights and its importance. Ms. Latika Khanduja gave an exhaustive and informative talk which will be useful to students when they go for research or higher studies. The topic covered in the session were :

• How to register patents?
• Why do we go for patent registration?
• Provisional and non-provisional patent applications
• Patenting process in India
• Brief overview of different provisions of IPR
