ORIENTATION PROGRAM – KNOW YOUR LIBRARY: 16 DECEMBER 2022 – LIBRARY COMMITTEE

Our college library committee organized an Orientation & Visual Library Tour for First year PG students of the academic year 2022-2023. The orientation is designed to equip I year students with information and skills that will enable them to make efficient use of library resources and services. The orientation program – Know Your Library was conducted on 16 th December 2022 inside the campus library.

Libraries play a vital role in providing students with reliable content. They encourage and promote the process of learning and grasping knowledge. Objective of the program were -
▪ Learn how to access the library
▪ How to search for information?
▪ How to get assistance?

Students were given information and introduced different sections of the library and how it’s functioning through orientation & visual tour by Librarian S Dheenadhayalini. Around 45 to 50 PG students attended the orientation program.
