ONE DAY NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EXPLORING DIGITAL MEDIA: 26 MARCH 2022 - THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMANITIES (SFS) IN COLLABORATION WITH ST PAUL’S INSTITUTE OF COMMUNICATION EDUCATION FOR WOMEN

The Department of Humanities in Collaboration with St Paul’s Institute of Communication Education for Women, Mumbai conducted One-Day National Conference on the theme “Exploring Digital Media: Reshaping The landscape of Society and Culture. This activity was in collaboration with the MOU with the college. Professor Suhas Pednekar, Vice Chancellor of University, Mumbai, Prof. K G Suresh, Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal and Prof. K V Nagaraj, Vice Chancellor of Central University, Silchar, Assam were the three resource persons for the session.

The conference provided a platform for all the scholars to showcase their research skills and their capability to do the same. Scholars from all over India participated in the conference to exchange knowledge and ideas and to provide an in-depth analysis of subjects and update the knowledge of the participants from academic/research institutions. Around 10 students from the Department of Humanities (BA) of St Francis de Sales College presented paper on various sub- themes having the objectives in place. One-day National Conference aimed to produce research skills and explore their publication skills and the Department of Journalism at St Paul’s Institute for Communication Education for Women, Mumbai is planning to call for peer- reviewed journal with an ISBN number for this academic year.
