REPORT OF PULSE POLIO VACCINATION

School of Commerce organised a Worksop on Advanced Excel Training for PG & UG Commerce students on 25th to 27th March 2024 in Lab 2 with the aim of equipping students with advanced skills and techniques in Microsoft Excel. The workshop was designed to cater to professionals seeking to enhance their spreadsheet management, data analysis, and reporting capabilities.

Objectives:
• To deepen students understanding of advanced Excel functionalities beyond basic spreadsheet operations.
• To enhance students’ efficiency by teaching them time-saving techniques and shortcuts for complex tasks.
• To teach advanced data analysis techniques such as PivotTables, data modeling, and scenario analysis.
• To create dynamic and visually appealing charts and graphs to effectively communicate insights from data.

The workshop covered a range of topics including:
Advanced functions and formulas.
PivotTable and PivotChart creation, manipulation, and customization.
Data validation, conditional formatting, and advanced filtering techniques.
Introduction to Power Query for data import, transformation, and analysis.
Automation using macros and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
Tips and tricks for efficient workbook management and navigation.
Best practices for data analysis, including data cleansing and outlier detection.

Learning Outcomes:
The Advanced Excel Training workshop was successful in providing students with advanced excel skills and techniques essential for effective data analysis and reporting. The workshop not only enhanced students' proficiency in Excel but also empowered them to optimize workflows and make informed decisions based on data insights. Overall, the workshop received positive feedback from participants, indicating its effectiveness in meeting the learning objectives.
